Kerala Prawn/Shrimp fry / Chemmeen fry

Ingredients

1. Prawns/shrimps  peeled              –  250 gm

2. Red chilli powder            – 3 tsp

3. Turmeric powder             – 1/2 tsp

4. Pepper powder               – 1 tsp

5. Garlic  paste                    –  1/2 tsp

6. Garam masala powder      – 1/2tsp


Curry leaves

7. Salt  as needed

Oil for fry



Method
Wash and clean prawns. Soak ingredients 2-7 with little water. Marinate prawns/shrimps with the soaked ingredients for 1/2 an hour. Cook prawns/shrimps with little water till the water dries out completely. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cooked prawns/shrimps.
