Drumstick soup/Muringakka soup

This soup is a simple and delicious healthy soup.

Ingredients
Drumstick – 6nos
Toordal-1 /2cup
Shallots – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 4 tsp
Salt

Pepper powder – as required

Directions
Clean toor dal in several changes of water. Cut drumstick into pieces. Pressure cook toor dal and drumsticks in water as required. Mash them well with a wooden spoon and sieve it well. Heat ghee in a pan,saute shallots. When they turn brown in colour, add to the sieved soup. Now add pepper powder as required  .
If the soup is very thick, add water to reach your desired level of consistency. drumstick soup is ready.
