Kappa Ularthu/Tapioca Stir Fry

Ingredients


Tapioca- 1/2 kg


Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp


Salt as needed


Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp


Shallots chopped – 1/4 cup


Garlic chopped-   2 tsp


Chilli flakes – 2 tsp


Ginger chopped – 1 tsp


Curry leaves

Method

Boil water in a pan adding turmeric powder, salt, and tapioca. Cook well and drain the water.


Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds. Add onion, garlic, ginger and curry leaves. When onion turns light brown, add chilli flakes and saute for a minute in low flame. Add cooked tapioca and mix well. Serve hot with rice and chapati.
