Milk Cake



Ingredients
1. Maida – 250 gm
    Baking powder – 1 tsp

2. Butter – 150 gm
3. Sugar, powdered finely – 200 gm
4. Egg yolks – 3
5. Lemon juice – 2 tsp
    Lemon rinds peeled – 1/4 tsp
6. Egg whites of 4 eggs
7. Sugar – 50 gm
8. Milk – 1/2 cup
    Butter – 25 gm

Directions
Sift the first ingredients. Beat butter to soften it. Add powdered sugar to this and beat nicely. Now add egg yolks one by one and continue to beat.

Add lemon juice and peeled lemon rinds to the sifted first ingredients.

In a bowl, whisk the egg whites along with 25 gm of sugar. Add this to the sifted ingredients. Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius. Bake the cake for an hour.

Milk cake is ready to enjoy.
