Soyabean Masala

INGREDIENTS

2 cups soyabean

1 onion

6 garlic cloves

1 tbsp chopped ginger

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp pepper powder

½ tsp turmeric powder

3 tsp coriander powder

1½ tsp chilli powder

½ tsp garam masala powder

2 tomatoes

Oil

¼ cup coriander leaves

1½ cups coconut milk

Salt

INGREDIENTS
Soak soyabean for 8 hours.

Pressure cook soyabean till 1 whistle along with salt and water.

Heat oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds.

Add onion, garlic and saute well.

When the raw smell leaves, add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and pepper powder.

Saute on low flame.

Add tomato. When the tomatoes are all mashed and oil starts to float, add cooked soyabean. 

Allow curry to boil. When the gravy starts to thicken, add coconut milk. Switch off stove.

Add coriander leaves. 

Serve with chapati.
