On a rainy day, there is nothing better than a hot chicken soup. So here goes the recipe:
Ingredents
1) Chicken pieces – 1 /4 kg
2)Cinnamon leaves -1 no
3) Water – 4 1 /2 cup
4)Butter – 1 tbs
5)Maida – 1 1/ 2 tbs
6) Milk – 1 1/4 cup
7) Salt as needed
8) Pepper powder -1 /4 tsp
9)Chopped celery – 1 tabs
10) Cream – 2 tbsp
Method
Pressure cook chicken pieces along with bay leaves and 4-1/2 cups of water till 2 whistles, then cook on low heat for another 20 minutes. When pressure releases, open the cooker and take the chicken pieces and pull the chicken meat apart. Sieve the remaining stock well. Now add the chicken pieces to the stock and grind well.Sieve the mixture again.
Heat butter in a pan, add maida and stir for 1 minute. Add milk and stir maida-milk mixture without any lumps, allow it to thicken. Now add the ground chicken mixture to this and boil again. When it is done, add salt, celery, and pepper powder. Decorate the chicken soup with cream. Serve hot.
