Ingredients
Chicken – 1 kg
Onion – 2 medium
Garlic – 7 cloves
Ginger – 1 small piece
Green chilli – 4 – 6 nos
Coriander leaves – 1 cup
Mint leaves – 1 cup
Oil – 4 tbsp
Curd – 1/2 cup
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Fennel powder – 1/2 tsp
Method
Grind onion, coriander leaves,mint leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilli to a paste. Heat oil in a pan, saute the paste. Add chicken and curd. Now add pepper powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder. ,fennel powder and coriander powder Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes. If needed, 1/4 cup of water. Stir from time to time. Open the lid and when water is no more, green chicken is ready, switch off the stove, and serve.
Have tried this recipe years back. Very yummy dish with the goodness of the mint and coriander leaves.
