Ingredients
Semolina/ Rava – 1 cup
Beetroot, grated – 1 medium
Yoghurt – 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chilli paste – 1/2 – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Eno fruit salt- 1 tsp
For tempering
Oil – 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Dry red chilli broken – 2 nos
Grated coconut – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tbsp
Method
In a bowl, mix together rava, grated beetroot, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, chilli paste, 1 tbsp oil and enough water to make a thick batter. Keep aside for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add eno salt and mix well.
Grease a steel plate. Pour the batter in it. Using a steamer cook them for 15-20 minutes. After it is cooked, keep them aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, cut them into desired shapes.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and dry red chillies. Allow them to splutter. Pour this over cooked dhokla. Now sprinkle grated coconut ad coriander leaves on top.
