Ingredients
Amara payar cut in to 1 /2 inch pieces – 250 g
grated garlic – 2 tsp
Chopped onion – 1 no
Curd – 2 dst sp
Turmaric powder – 1 /4 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt as required
Oil as required
Method
Boil water in a saucepan . Add amara payar /hyacinth beans in boiling water and cook till it is half done
( half cooked ) . Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai , add garlic cloce the lid and cook for 2 minutes . Now add onion and saute for 2 minutes.After this add whipped curd,turmaric powder,chilli powder and half cooked hyacinth beans.
Cook till the beans is done ( cook without any water) .
