Pavakka beetroot ularthiyathu / Bittergourd and beetroot stir fry

Bittergourd              –     1 no
Beetroot                  –      1 no
Shallots                    –      4 no
Chilli powder            –      1 tsp
Turmeric powder      –      1 /2 tsp
Garam masala powder –     1 /2 tsp
Oil                              –     2 tsp
Salt

Cut bittergourd and beetroot into 1/2 inch thin pieces.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add shallots, bittergourd, beetroot, and saute for sometime. Then add chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and cook it in low heat. Cook till it is stir fried. Bittergourd and beetroot ularthu goes well with rice.
