Cabbage Egg Stir Fry

This cabbage egg stir fry is very healthy side dish for chapati and rice, which can be prepared in 10 minutes.


Cabbage, chopped – 3 cups

Egg – 2

Onion, chopped – 1 medium

Garlic – 3

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tsp

Salt – as needed

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Oil – as needed


Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. When it crackles, add onion. Saute well.

When onion turns light brown in color, add  chilli powder and turmeric powder. Saute.

Add cabbage and salt. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low flame. Stir occasionally. 

When cabbage is half cooked, add beaten egg. Mix well on a low flame for 3 minutes. 

Cabbage egg stir fry is ready to be served.
