Carrot lassi / carrot sambaram

Thick curd      –  1 cup

Carrot     –  2 nos

Green chilli – 1 no

Ginger        – a small piece

Curry leaves – 2 stalks

Coriander leaves  – 1 tbsp

Sugar             – 2 tsp

Chilled water   – 4 cups

Chilli powder  – 1 pinch

Salt   as needed

Peel and grate the carrots. Blend the above ingredients with 2 cups of chilled water to get a thick foam. Pour half of this into a jug. Keep the remaining juice in the blender and add again 2 more cups of chilled water and blend this again to get a thick foam. Pour this to the jug and serve chilled.
