When jack fruit is in season, I make puttu with jackfruit known as chakka puttu.
Chakka puttu is prepared by adding jack fruit pieces along with slightly wet puttu mix.
Puttu maker is filled with grated coconut, puttu mix and jackfruit pieces in layers.
It is then steamed. Piping hot chakka puttu is ready to be served.
