Remove the shells and Devein the prawns. Wash thoroughly and keep aside.
Chop onions,ginger,garlic and slit green chilies. Scoop out ½ coconut from its shell and thinly slice it.
In a pan, on low flame, pour oil, add onion ,chillies,garlic,ginger and curry leaves. Saute till the ingredients turn light brown. Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and meat masala powder, then put coconut pieces fry on low flame 2-3 minutes, then add prawns,Kudampuli water, and salt and close the lid. Keep on low flame till the gravy is thick.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with chapattis or rice
