Chicken pepper fry

 This  is a simple chicken preparation.  Only few ingredients are needed for this recipe. It is a dry preparation, which goes well with rice or chapati.


Ingredients

        1) chicken  (  cut  into small pieces  ) –   1  kg
         2) turmeric   powder- 1/2 tsp
         3) coriander powder -1 1/2 tbsp
         4) Crushed   pepper –  2 1/2 to 3 tab sp
         5) Coconut  pieces –  1 cup
         6 ) ginger, chopped – 1/2 tbsp
              garlic   chopped- 1 tab Sp
         7) mustard seeds – 1 /2 tsp
         8)  chopped  onion – 1 medium
          9)  Curry leaves
         10 )  Oil
          11 )  garam masala powder – 1  tsp


   Method



 Cook chicken along with 2nd to 6th ingredients, salt and 1 cup of water. In a wok, splutter mustard seeds,add curry leaves. Saute onion and add cooked chicken and fry in a low flame.  Add garam masala powder to this and when the chicken changes its colour, take off the stove to be served .
