Minced chicken – 2 cups
Mashed potato – 1 cup
Mashed carrot – 1/4 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1 medium
Green chillies chopped – 4 Nos
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1/2 tsp ( optional)
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
For deep fry
Egg – 1- 2 nos
Bread crumbs -as needed
Oil for deep fry – as needed
Marinate chicken pieces with pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Cook them. Remove from stove and once cold, mince them. Heat oil in a pan, saute onion. When onions are sauteed light brown, add green chillies, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, garam masala powder and coriander leaves. Saute them. Add chicken mince and salt and saute them. Add mashed potato and carrot. Add flour. Remove from stove and allow it to cool. Then transfer the mixture to fridge and keep there for 1/2 an hour. After 1/2 an hour, roll them into log shape.
Dip them in egg wash and then in to bed crumbs.
Fry croquettes in hot oil till golden brown.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or chilli sauce.
