Crunchy chicken strips


1. Chicken breast cut into long strips – 700 gm

2. Vinegar – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

3. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
cashewnuts, chopped finely – 1/2 cup
Fennel powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves, chopped finely – 2 tbsp
4. Egg – 1
Milk – 1/2 cup
5. Maida – 1/2 cup
6. Oil as needed

Marinate chicken strips with no. 2 ingredients for 1 hour. Mix no. 3 ingredients thoroughly in a freezer bag or any plastic bag. Beat egg and milk together. Now dip the marinated chicken strips in maida and then to the beaten egg and milk mixture. Now add the chicken strips to the freezer bag full of no. 3 ingredients. Shake the bag well so that all the ingredients coat the chicken strips nicely.

Heat oil in a kadai, fry these chicken strips till golden brown (it takes 8-10 minutes). Serve this with sauce of your choice.
