kadala / –1 cup


onion –1 no



shallots –10 no


garlic –1 tsp


chilli powder –1 tsp


Turmeric powder–1 /4 tsp


Garam masala –1 /2 tsp


Curry leaves


Salt

Method




Wash and soak kadala in water over night .pressure cook chick peas with little salt and enough water till 10 whistles in medium flame. 

Heat oil in a pan add onion,shallots,garlic saute for sometime. Then add chili powder, turmeric powder,garam masala stir fry for 2 minutes .Add kadala to this pan along with water. Once thickened, kadala is ready to be served.
