I am very happy today as I have got 100 friends through blogging plus all the festivities to begin. This pineapple payasam is a sweet treat for this Onam.
Ingredients
Ripe pineapple – 1
Sugar – 300 gm
Grated coconut – of 2 coconuts
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
Cashewnuts – 1/4 cup
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Ginger powder – 1 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Sago seeds – 50 g
Directions
Chop pineapple into thin small pieces. Cook pineapple and reduce it without any water. Now add sugar and mix well. Press and take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd extracts of coconut milk and keep aside. First add 3rd extract of coconut milk and when it thickens, add 2nd extract, when it boils well, add 1st extract. Now don’t allow to boil. Before that add cooked sago seeds. Add fried cashewnuts in ghee. Add cumin powder, ginger powder, and cardamom powder. Pineapple pradhaman is ready for Onam.
