Mint Tea/Puthina Chai


Water – 3 cups
Tea powder – 1 1/2  tsp
Mint leaves chopped finely – 1 handful
Ginger – a small piece
Sugar – as needed
Cardamom – 2 pods, lightly crushed


Boil water in a pan. Then, add tea powder, ginger, sugar, and cardamom.  Sieve it.

Serve in tea cups with finely chopped mint leaves sprinkled over it.
