Ingredients:-
Milk – 6 cups
Cracked wheat – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Saffron – 1 pinch (Soaked in 1tbsp of hot milk)
Almonds sliced – 1 tsp
Milkmaid – 1/4 cup
Directions:-
Boil milk in a thick bottom pan. When milk starts to boil, add washed cracked wheat into this. When cracked wheat is cooked well, add sugar and mix. Now add milkmaid. Mix once again. Add saffron, sliced almonds, and cardmom powder. This payasam can be served hot or cold.
