Raw banana/Pachakaya/Ethakka – 1 big
Achinga/String beans – 1 cup
Turmeric powder -1 /2 tsp
Chilli powder – 2tsp
Mustard seeds -1 /2tsp
Small onion chopped – 1 /4 cup
Garlic – 2 cloves
Peel the raw banana and soak in salt water. Cut achinga/string beans into small pieces. Cook raw banana and string beans along with some water and salt.
Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. Add garlic, small onions and curry leaves. Saute well. Now add chilli powder. Add cooked banana and string beans to this and mix well. Cook till the water dries up. Serve hot with rice.
