Raw plantain / Pacha Kaya – 2
Green chillies – 1
Curry leaves as needed
Chilly powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Shallots, chopped – 10
Peel raw banana and cut it into small pieces. Keep them in water for sometime to remove stains.
Pressure cook raw banana the cut pieces, green chillies, curry leaves, salt, turmeric powder till one whistle.
Heat oil in a pan. Crackle mustard seeds. Saute shallots. When shallots turn light brown in color, add chilli powder. Saute.
Add cooked banana and stir well. Pacha kaya mezhukkupuratti is ready.
