
Ingredients
Soyabean – 2 cups
Onion – 1 no
Garlic – 6 cloves, pounded
Ginger chopped – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 3 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes – 2 nos
Oil
Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
Coconut milk – 1 1/2 cups
Salt

Directions
Soak soyabean for 8 hours. Pressure cook soyabean till 1 whistle along with salt and water. Heat oil in a pan, crackle cumin seeds. Add onion, garlic and saute well. When the raw smell goes, add coriander pdr, chilli pdr, turmeric pdr, garam masala pdr, pepper pdr and saute well. Add tomatoes to this. When the tomatoes are all mashed up and oil starts to float, add cooked soyabean and mix well. Allow them to boil. when the gravy starts to thicken, add coconut milk and boil it. Switch off stove, add coriander leaves. Ideally served with chapati and puttu.
