Ingredients
1)Chicken – 1kg
To grind Second ingredients
2) Dry red chillies – 7 nos
Garlic
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Cardamom – 2 nos
Cloves – 4 nos
Cinnamon – 4 small pieces
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
3) Vinegar – as needed
4) Tomato chopped – 3 nos
5) Oil as needed
6) Onion chopped – 2 nos
7) Salt
8)Sugar – 1/2 tsp
9) Boiled egg white grated for decoration – 1 no
Cut and clean chicken into pieces. Grind the second ingredients with vinegar into a smooth paste. Grind tomatoes. Heat oil in a pan, saute the onions till brown in colour. Now add the smooth paste prepared above. Saute them for a minute. Now add tomatoes and saute them well. When the tomatoes are all cooked, add chicken and salt. Close the lid and cook in low flame. When it is cooked, adjust the salt and sugar accordingly. Switch off the stove and decorate it with grated egg whites. Serve with jeera rice or paneer peas pulao.
